Both Bid
Requesters and Writers
WritingHub.com
reserves the right to refuse to post, alter or remove any bid request, bid or
other transmitted information. WritingHub.com
may exercise this right without any advance notice to the individual submitting
the bid or bid request.
WritingHub.com
acts as a "middle-man" between bid requester and Writer. It is in its best
interest to attempt to make sure that every transaction proceeds smoothly and to
the mutual satisfaction of both parties. However, In the event that an
irresolvable dispute arises as a result of a transaction, both Writer and coder
agree that as a "middle-man", WritingHub.com is completely harmless and not
liable in any way for said dispute.
As the purpose of
WritingHub is to facilitate financial transactions via the site, Bid Requesters
and Writers who post bid requests or bids that go against this purpose will have
their postings deleted and their WritingHub accounts terminated.
This includes, but is not
limited to, bid requests asking for 'pro-bono' work, work in exchange for a
commission/percentage of sales of a product, or a swap for non-cash
compensation. It also includes bids where the Writer offers to do the work or
provide a solution 'pro-bono'.
Those who choose
to access this Web Site are responsible for compliance with applicable local
laws. Information available on this Web Site and transactions occurring as a
result of your use of the site may be subject to U.S. Export Control Laws and/or
other applicable export and import laws. You are solely responsible for
compliance with all applicable export/import laws, regulations, taxes, licenses
and fees.
In order to protect the legal rights and recourse of both Writers
and Clients, all users of the site affirm that they are legal adults, able to
enter into contracts and at least 18 years of age. Persons not meeting this
requirement are not allowed to post bid requests or bids.

WritingHub.com reserves the right to change
or delete user public content and/or private communications sent through
WritingHub systems. Additionally, it may refuse service and/or block any user
who does not adhere to these guidelines, or for any other reason for which
WritingHub deems prudent. Additionally, legal action may be pursued at
WritingHub's discretion.
WritingHub.com may take this action without
prior notice or explanation to the user.
Automated bots
Automated bots
cause stress on the site servers and when proper precautions are not in place,
can prevent legitimate "real" users from accessing the site. You may not create
any automated bot to access WritingHub without first notifying WritingHub and
receiving expressed written approval for it's design. If WritingHub approves
your bot's design, then you must adhere to the specifications that WritingHub
approves. WritingHub reserves the right to revoke permission previously granted,
and you agree that if so revoked you will immediately cease use of the bot and
take all available actions to prevent other users of the bot from using it as
well.
Redisplay of
WritingHub site
You may not take
any portion of the WritingHub site and redisplay it (whether in it's entirety or
partially), without expressed written consent by WritingHub.
Privacy
Statement
WritingHub.com believes strongly in
protecting our users' privacy. Click here for our full
privacy policy. Please note that WritingHub
uses the best of its ability to protect all data from external and unauthorized
party access by the use of (but not limited to) firewalls, encryption and 3rd
party security consultants. Additionally it also uses the best of its ability to
protect site users from viruses via virus scanning software. However no security
system and/or virus system is 100% secure or 100% effective. Should sensitive
data be confirmed as compromised, or a virus discovered on an WritingHub system,
WritingHub will alert the affected User via email (to the address registered on
the site). However, due to the nature of security and viruses, WritingHub
strongly advises the User to take their own security precautions, such as
personal virus scanning software, and/or encrypting sensitive communications.
Given the nature of these matters, should a security compromise or virus
incident occur, User agrees that WritingHub is not liable for the incident (in
any way or kind) nor for any repercussions of such an incident (in any way or
kind).
Governing Law
This Agreement and the Terms of Membership shall be governed and construed in
accordance with the laws of the State of California without giving effect to the
choice of law provisions thereof. Any dispute arising between You and Us will be
resolved by submission to arbitration in Contra Costa County, State of
California in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association
then in effect. Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in this Agreement is
intended or shall be construed to negate or otherwise affect the consumer
protection laws of the state in which You reside.
